Yes. If you take away contraception and birth control methods, women won't want to have sex with you.  I guess this is only a problem when it happens to Republican men. A moment of clarity?

This is exactly my problem. We do not need to talk about things that occur in the bedroom on the floor of the legislature.

You should not be allowed to make laws about reproductive health if you can't even say the word VAGINA.

If contraceptives become illegal, I'd like women to collectively stop having sex with men. I'd like them to keep doing it even if they'd like a baby. Because if we went 15-20 years with almost no babies born in this country, I suspect we'd actually get gender equality pretty damned fast. But it's a lot more likely that they'd keep passing laws that denigrate women until rape stops being illegal and becomes a male privilege.

I just have so much ______ with this (fill in the blank with an angry word. It's like a madlibs reply). On one hand, absolutely. I agree with the wife. But I on the other, isn't that their goal: to prevent people from having sex? This is crazy and kind of tinfoil hat of me, but hundreds of years ago, women did have birth control methods (one day I got bored and researched birth control methods during the time of ancient Rome). But as the field of medicine advanced, these methods were replaced or abandoned. (Modern methods are probably more safe and effective.) Has this been a disservice? I feel like all the advancements were made to lure women into a sense of security only to be abandoned.

Once I see rape laws being amended or appealed (re-instating the marital exception, requiring violence and not just threats, requiring corroborating witnesses, etc.) I'll remember, I read it here first.
